Dr. Schneider’s experience has focused on complex reconstructive and aesthetic procedures, including breast and lymphedema surgery. She is a passionate physician and caring mother who tailors her care to each individual patient.

Dr. Schneider graduated Phi Beta Kappa and Summa Cum Laude from Yale University, where she won the prestigious Nicholas Poulin Cup, given to the woman with the highest GPA in her college. She is a strong supporter of women’s rights and ran an organization at Yale called Consent, which helped those with questions or concerns about sexual harassment or assault.

Dr. Schneider graduated in the top of her class from Columbia University College of Physicians and Surgeons, earning a coveted spot in the Alpha Omega Honor Society as well as the Gold Humanism Honor Society. While at Columbia, she founded a Women’s Health Interest Group and was the leader of the school’s chapter of the American Medical Women’s Association. Dr. Schneider was one of only two students selected nationwide for training at the world-renowned Institute for Reconstructive Plastic Surgery at New York University Langone Medical Center-Bellevue Hospital. She trained for six years with leaders and pioneers in all fields of plastic and reconstructive surgery, including Dr. Bob Allen, the originator of the DIEP flap. She spent an additional year of training in microsurgical reconstruction at NYU/Bellevue, honing her skills at complex procedures such as finger re-attachments and free tissue transfer. Dr. Schneider’s goal is to provide her patients with the highest level of expertise, so that their decisions – and not their surgeon’s limitations – would drive their care.
